Lucky Number Seven!

Yes, it's true! After a 2.5 month delay, SRWCF stage 7 is finally finished! And it's super snazzy! Observe:

  • Master Chief, clever bastard, has his very own Hijack system. This means he can mess around in one robot...
...Hijack another one from the enemy...

...and take a joyride! Then switch again when he gets bored.

It's basically stealing, but without all those pesky moral/legal strings attached. Because it's for a good cause. Right?

  • The nifty new Encyclopedia! All kinds of handy information.
Here, you can learn more about your units...

...or listen to a character brag about his achievements!

Er. I mean. Learn about their deep, dark secret pasts and stuff.

  • Here we see Idris, showing off the snazzy new Aptitude system (accessible from the Intermission screen)! Look at that shiny background!
Of course, the system's pretty cool, too. The characters are, at present, limited in what they can pilot by their aptitude with certain types of units. This can be rather inconvenient. Now, however, they can learn new aptitudes, become acquainted with different unit types, and become more versatile and less useless (for a price)! All this training also gives them something to do on those long space jumps.

  • Next on the list, unit icons! Your robots are now represented by cute little robot heads, instead of crushed little mini-robots.

  • Stage 7 also welcomes two new units! They're so colorful!

As you can see, a whole host of new and exciting things await in Stage 7! So the wait was worth it. Thanks for being so patient, everyone.

Enjoy~
